Sir Edward Hulton, Bart., who died on May 23, left property valued at Z*2,222,471. Among his bequests he leaves £5,000 to the church of Our Lady and St. Peter, Leatherhead.

Mrs. Jane Henrietta Doyle, of 38, Dorset Square, N.W., who died an May 27, has left property of the value of £23,249. The testatrix gives £500 to the Most Rev. Francis Mostyn, Archbishop of Cardiff ; £200 to the Rev. Herbert Vaughan for the Catholic Missionary Society ; £200 to the rector of the church of the Immaculate Conception, Farm Street ; Ztoo to the Mother Superior of the Sisters of Charity, Carlisle Place; Zso to the Superioress of the Marie Reparatrice Convent, Chiswick ; Z300 to the senior priest of Our Lady, St. John's Wood; Zioo to the Mother Superior of the Sisters of Mercy, Harewood Avenue; Zwo to the Superior of the Convent of Poor Clares, Notting Hill; £200 to the Mother Prioress of the Carmelite Convent, Chichester ; Zioo to the Catholic Truth Society ; .2oo to St. Joseph's Hospice for the Dying, Hackney ; Zroo to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith; £25 to the Children of Mary Guild, poor girls at the Convent of the Sacred Heart, Roehampton ; Zs() each to the senior priest of the church of the Rosary, Marylebone Road; the senior priest of St. James's church, Spanish Place; the senior priest of the Catholic church at Felton, Northumberland; £50 to the Mother Superior of Nazareth House, Hammersmith; £50 to the Mother Superior of the Convent of Little Sisters of the Poor, Portobello Road ; £30 and £1,980 Stock to her maid Mary Hennessey, and Ztoo to her to be distributed amongst the poor people to whom the testatrix had been in the habit of making gratuities; £530 to her servant Joanna Sexton ; many other legacies, and the residue to Paulina Nicholl.
