THE ENGLISH MARTYRS.

The following are the names of the 261 Martyrs contained in the Folium Commissionis Introductionis which was signed by the Holy Father last week. We may point out that while the name of the Venerable Thomas Garnet, S.J., appears in this list, that of his uncle, Father Henry Garnet, S.J., does not. The latter has been placed by the Promo/or Fide:* among the forty-four Dilati for whom further proof must be given before their cause can be introduced.
